There are many reasons to join the Gowanda Area Chamber of Commerce.
Health Insurance
Members (and families & employees) may join one of three group health insurance plans at very reasonable rates: Independent Health (choice of 5 plans), Univera (choice of 5 plans) and Blue Cross & Blue Shield (choice of 3 plans).
Impact
Members help decide direction and work with area officials in cooperative efforts for mutual benefit including economic development issues, attracting new businesses, etc.

Business Directory
A listing in our annual report, that is widely used in our area instead of the multitude of telephone books, is free to Chamber members.
Welcome
Members, through the Chamber, welcome new businesses and residents to our communities as well as working to attract business and industry.
Networking
Members share resources and information with one another informally, and at periodic get-togethers held at various community and member locations.
Promotion
Member businesses are promoted through the Chamber's sanction, the special events and monthly special shop-at-home promotion in the Gowanda PennySaver/News.
Trade/Tourism
Member businesses and communities are also promoted through the Chamber's office which answers inquiries and displays the wide variety of Chamber publications.
Community
'Give something back' through Chamber events such as Spirit of Gowanda Program, Pioneer Days, Music in the Park summer concerts, Moonlight Madness, Ducky Derby and other community-wide efforts.
